Starbucks' War On Christmas Continues

Postby vms » Fri Nov 11, 2016 2:33 pm

Starbucks released this video about their new Holidays cups for this year. It shows customers coming up with designs for cups for this year and you'll notice the first one is with a manger scene.

But if you look at this link for the official cups for 2016 you'll see the manger scene cup isn't one of them. So Starbucks' War On Christmas continues. Waiting for xians to express outrage and feelings of fake persecution.

shit won't fly in pence's america. A funeral for every aborted fetus (until it's illegal), a gay unable to order a pizza, and a nativity scene on every starbucks cup.
With a name like Smucker's, it has to be god.

Not only was Baby Jesus eliminated- number Three celebrates Satan Claus worship.

In our affluent, free-thinking, progressive west, Christians call persecution when a company wants to entertain all it's paying customers in a year end ritual that involves putting out a series of brightly illustrated drinking vessels.
Not breaking into your places of worship and massacring you, or taking your leaders and crucifying them, or raping or hanging you.
Just putting out brightly illustrated drinking vessels.
Brightly illustrated drinking vessels
Really.

The phrase 'you don't know your born' is apposite on this occasion.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? (Epicurus circa:300 BC)

Starbucks is displacing local businesses, though, even here in Vienna, the world's cultural center of the Kaffeehaus. For that alone they deserve to burn in Hell.

My Mum had a friend, she's dead now, but she was a DP, a displaced person who came from the war-torn Continent to Britain after the war, and over the years she returned to Austria for holidays. She said that you haven't lived till you've tasted Viennese coffee and cake. It's a damn pity that an interloper with money and a name is taking over generations of culture like that.

Well, Starbucks hasn't yet taken over here- at last count there were fourteen of them in Vienna, as opposed to hundreds of traditional Kaffeehäuser. But that's fourteen more than there were when I came here first.
