I know. Ridiculous right!

When I first started making music - late 80s - and I mean at the most basic hobbyist level here, a four track TASCAM recorder cost the equivalent of £250 in today's money.

Today, you can put an app on your phone that gives you a 127 track sequencer, over a hundred sampled instruments, and a range of effects for under £10. Crazy. Even an idiot like me can make music that sounds halfway decent!

Amazing. Back in the day it was a major project to load up Mrs Froggie's equipment when she was doing a DJ gig. Now I carry it out to the vehicle in two trips- Laptop synthesizer/amp and a couple speakers.
And the best part, she has a 2 terabyte drive with virtually every song from 1950 to present!

Wow, that's very cool, baldy. A well deserved tribute to a visionary thinker.
You were born. And so you're free. So happy birthday.
