Wow, vms. The question is just so sad, and ignorant, on so many different levels, but he answer is exquisitely poignant, direct, and insightful; one of the the best I've ever seen.

But worse than having a child that refused to be heterosexual, neither of my children will oblige me by being redheads despite ginger genes on both sides of the family and a red mother, the willful bastards.

I'm thinking of having them killed.

A phobia is a disorder. If people are homophobic, then they suffer from a disorder. Then they're no more responsible for their actions than anyone else who suffers a disorder. Isn't that how it works?
