Chat has been disabled

A place for members to help other members with questions about how to navigate the forums, how to post, ect. Feel free to make suggestions here as well.

Yes, we can all read the FAQ, but sometimes the question either isn't covered or it just makes more sense coming from a fellow member.

Chat has been disabled

Due to the problems we've been having with chat during the past week chat has been disabled.

I guess we'll have to chat here. How are you this morning, vms?

Yes, the guest escalated things, which rufus then escalated, and it was just destructive to the whole place.

I don't see an ajax chat button. That's what I see:

You're correct, I switched to subsilver2 and I now see the chat.

Are we not getting chat back at any time? If so, I think that sucks.

Granted, trolls don't really bother me. I have a thick skin and I have no problem ignoring a troll. I just think that we could have solved this in other ways than simply torching the chat altogether.

But, this isn't my site and I don't run it.

Well there is still the old chat that's been hidden away in the corner for 3 years,it might be modifiable to something a bit more useful.
